This is the BlindPay Technical Team. I'm writing to inform you of a critical issue that requires immediate attention.

Issue Summary: Yesterday and today, our virtual account creation service was temporarily disabled for maintenance. During this period, any virtual accounts created may have been assigned incorrect routing information.

Immediate Action Required: If you created virtual accounts yesterday or today that display the following information, please immediately contact your customers and instruct them DO NOT send money to these accounts:

We will be deleting all affected virtual accounts created during the maintenance window

New virtual account generation will be restored shortly

Issues with transactions on Polygon mainnet

    We are currently experiencing service disruptions due to network-wide issues affecting the Polygon mainnet. Our RPC provider, QuickNode, has confirmed they are unable to process transactions at this time.

    All Polygon mainnet transactions are temporarily unavailable

    • Issue affects the entire Polygon network, not isolated to our services
    • No estimated time for resolution available

    Next Steps:

    • We will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available from our provider or the Polygon network team. Users are advised to avoid attempting Polygon transactions until service is restored.

      We are currently experiencing degraded performance affecting payment processing times. While our core systems remain operational, some payouts and payins may experience extended processing delays.

      [HIGH] Incident Alert: Brazil Payment Processing Outage

        Resolved

        The Brazil payment processing outage incident has been fully resolved as of Monday, March 17, 2025, 9:45am PST.

        Root Cause: Our principal banking partner in Brazil froze our API connection for compliance reasons, which resulted in the complete service outage for Brazil transactions.

        Resolution: We engaged directly with our banking partner's entire legal and compliance team to resolve the issues as quickly as possible. We regained access to the API this Saturday and completed testing to ensure stable operations. Additionally, we have successfully integrated with a secondary banking partner for Brazil operations.

        Duration: Thursday, March 13, 2025, 2:30pm PST to Monday, March 17, 2025, 9:45am PST

        Preventative Measures:

        • All payins and payouts from Brazil are now fully normalized and operational
        • We have added one more banking partner for redundancy to ensure business continuity in case of similar issues
        • Implementing enhanced monitoring for early detection of API authentication issues
        • Establishing improved communication channels with banking partners for faster resolution of technical issues

        We sincerely apologize for any disruption this incident may have caused and appreciate your patience during the resolution process. We understand the impact this had on your business operations and have taken significant steps to prevent similar incidents in the future.

        UPDATE: [HIGH] Incident Alert: Brazil Payment Processing Outage

          This is an update regarding the Brazil payment processing outage incident.

          Current Status: Payouts are still functioning normally. However, payin services remain completely offline, including the API for generating payins in Brazil.

          Expected Resolution: The expected resolution timeframe has been extended to Monday 10am PST.

          Additional Information: We had a call with our current banking partner today to investigate why the APIs are offline and to explore options for expediting service restoration. Our technical team is also actively evaluating alternative partners for sending and receiving money in Brazil to establish redundancy in our systems.

          Next update will be provided by Monday.

            Identified

            We are currently experiencing a complete outage of payment processing services for Brazil that may affect your transactions in this region.

            Impact:

            All payins (incoming payments) for Brazil are completely unavailable

            The API for generating payins in Brazil is not functioning

            While the API for payouts is still operational, all payments are being automatically refunded

            This affects all Brazil-based transactions across our platform

            Status: Our technical team is actively investigating the issue with our banking partner.

            Estimated Resolution: Approximately 12 hours

            Workaround: Unfortunately, there are no available workarounds at this time. We recommend pausing any Brazil-based payment operations until this incident is resolved.

            We will provide updates every 6 hours until the issue is resolved.
